Here we sit down with Trinayani, to know a bit more about her journey as a life coach.

Q. What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Trinayani: I have always been professionally engaged throughout my life, so when I moved to Macao I tried to get employment. While I wasn’t successful, I kept thinking of how I can be professionally engaged. Coaching is my true calling and hence I qualified myself to help other women thrive where they are by helping them make their dreams a reality. Being an entrepreneur was a perfect option for me to create what I wanted, the way I wanted, and be the master of my time.

Q. How did you get started?

Trinayani: There are many women out there whose life is a result of the choices they make most of which are by prioritizing everyone else’s needs. This leaves them frustrated and unhappy. I felt that when I first moved countries — a loss of identity. I felt that I could do something to help such women as I have been there and done that. Hence I became a coach to focus on ambitious and driven women to accomplish what they want out of their life through balanced choices.

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Trinayani: I feel isolated in Macao. I know that technology has bridged the gap and one can be in touch with anyone, however, I always prefer in-person interactions. Also, the profession calls for constant learning and I feel that if there was a group of coaches there would be so much more collaboration. I feel I need to optimize the technology available to put myself out there.

Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing You’ve Done Since you Started your Business?

Trinayani: “The feeling of being able to impact someone’s life is so much more valuable than money,” that is my biggest motivation. When you see that transformation happening, it’s just a different level of fulfillment.”

I have had the opportunity to coach women from different geographical backgrounds and various cultures. The most memorable breakthrough was when I coached a lady and after 2 sessions her partner came to me and said “What have you done to her, she is different and happy.” It made my day

Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?

Trinayani: The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, a book based on the Law of Attraction. The fact that we can attract what we want and the power is in us.

Q. What are your favourite online apps, tools, or resources and what do you love about them?

Trinayani: Mindvalley is a great resource for me. I am a member of the community and have really benefited, and Google calendar as basic as it is helps me organise my days.

Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Trinayani: My goal is to see profound transformation in people’s lives — work, relationships, confidence, self-worth, motivation… it all comes down to identifying the root problems and establishing a path forward.

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?

Trinayani: There is no shortcut to hard work. Commitment and consistency will always lead to your success.

Treat it like your baby and you know you will be doing your best.
