Q. What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Logan: Before I started my own business I was working at a job for over 7 years and slowly felt like my soul was being sucked from my body. I am a creative person at heart and I knew that I had to do something different that not only fulfilled my need to be creative but more importantly to help people.

I bought a couple of courses in marketing that I felt that I could be creative in and then found my way into website design which ignited a major passion inside. Knowing I can do this, become financially free and help people was a major win.

Q. How did you get started?

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Logan: My biggest startup challenge was being able to believe that I could actually do this. See, when I left my full-time job it was a week before covid hit in the States. I had no healthcare, and not sure when my next paycheck was coming in,

I got over this by first taking some money in investing in a mentor and really really working hard on my mindset. Flipping from a scarce mindset to an abundance mindset was a complete game-changer for me. I learned throughout this process that anything is truly possible if you are willing to go 100% in it. Believe in yourself, be confident and great things will happen.

Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing You’ve Done Since you Started your Business?

Logan: I won Best Small Business Web Design Agency in New England from Corporate Vision media innovator awards.

Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?

Logan: There are a lot of books I could recommend but The Go-Giver might be one that I would recommend everyone reads. This book changed my mindset from getting to giving — putting others’ interests first and continually adding value to their lives will ultimately lead to unexpected results. Must read!

Q. What are your top 3 favourite online apps, tools, or resources and what do you love about them?

  • Todoist — Chrome extension that I use regularly to keep my day-to-day tasks in place. I’m able to create tasks that I can simply check off once completed and it’s helped me to become more productive.
  • Slack — Using slack to bridge the gap between my clients and my team has helped significantly in terms of keeping up with constant communication. Clear communication is essential for my business so I want my clients to be able to have clear communication between myself and my team.
  • Lastpass — As someone who has a million different passwords and usernames LastPass is a great tool that saves it all and allows you to log in to programs faster.

Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Logan: I want to be able to leave a legacy surrounding compassion and the need to help others. I want to make an impact in my community as being someone who is compassionate and truly cares about others. I want to be able to set my family up without any financial worries in the future.

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?

Logan: Finding a mentor is incredibly important and will help you reach your goals faster.
